We have had the Flippi V for less than three months now. We purchased it for our newborn’s room; a fan can help prevent SIDS. It has worked flawlessly although rather loudly until today. The fan portion of the personal air circulator still works but the oscillation has stopped; it seems that this is common. When it is working this item is great; I just wish it would last longer than 2+ months before breaking. We have other Vornado fans and they have been working for years with no issues. I hope this oscillation malfunction is something that can be resolved without much of a hassle.

I had great expectations for my Flippi V. and it met my needs for a short while. I have to agree with other comments that it is a bit loud on the highest setting, but found that level 1 met most of my needs since the unit sat on my office desk. The Oscillation function failed after 2-3 weeks. I returned it to the store and got another unit. The oscillation failed again after only 3 weeks. (The unit never ran more than 8 hours a day if that much). I returned it to the store and now sit in my hot office again. There has to be a design or manufacturing issue here. Hopefully it will get fixed and I can try another one in the future

This is a great fan for such a small size. It's also very attractive and unobtrusive. It is a bit loud at the highest speed, but I like background noise.
It definitely help me keep my air conditioning bill down. I love it.

No oscillations after 3 months!

How would YOU rate an oscillating fan that costs 3X what other personal-size fans cost but quits oscillating (in any position) after 95 days of operation? Aside from moving air around the room, oscillating is its other purpose. So, for its hefty price, it doesn't do 50 percent of what Vornado promises. Is that "Fair" performance or "Poor" performance in your book?

The Flippi V has a three year warranty that will cover all costs to replace or repair the product- including shipment to Vornado for service. This product has great features but.

It moves the air the way they said it would but the cost is to high and it does make noise on high speed other than that I am very satisfied with this model remote is a great feature, I use it in my bed room and the remote help from in bed change speeds great. Could use a bigger
size in this model.

The Flippi oscillates and flips to direct air where you need it, up to 40 feet. It is s possible that your Flippi V is not operating normally and may need to be replaced, this model is covered by a 3 year warranty. This may be a small fan, but it has a lot of power. This would also be awesome in a larger size. I use this fan in my bedroom and it does everything you would want a fan to do with a REMOTE CONTROL.

My Flippi is a great little product.

I especially like the versatility with speed and oscillations. The remote is especially useful in operating it from my desk chair. I very much like the style in that it fits in well with current office styles. Great job Vornado. You might want to consider a larger version.
