The Air Beast

The fan earns the name... since i use it on a daily basis on and off at least twice a day for the year i have owned it. the fan has never falterd, gave in or broke down like most i have owned. the beast chops air to cool me down from a hard days work and a nice breeze at night and all i do is clean it once a week.

Works better than expected

For many years I have used a 10" less expensive fan to assist my air conditioner and I was happy. This 2yr old fan just stopped working. In looking at my many options I came accross the Vornado collection and splurged on this model based upon Vornado reputation and the sleek design. I got way more than I expected. After moving the fan around I found the spot where it is most effective. I cool a 12x18 room with several open doorways and a thru the wall a/c. I used the old fan at a high speed and high speed fan on a/c. I have found that I am able to increase the thermostat yet another degree and lower the speed of the a/c fan and still be comfortable. The fan barely hums and the contemporary designs makes a small imprint. Overall a lot less noise from both the fan and a/c. OUTSTANDING

Quiet... powerful... unique...

First I would like to say i am a owner of a Vornado Zippy and 5 years or more of faithful service on my office desk and good reviews for this unit got me to buy one and I am very surprised at the quiet to near hum of the fan while running... it cools my living room down w/o the a/c I like natural air from the outside and this fan brings it to me the buttons on the unit are in a great place and the simplicity of cleaning the unit adds to the features and i get comments from guests of the unique looks of the fan even the plastic is thicker all around adding to stablity and durabilty the fan.... but one downfall is in the instructions they should point out which screw to unscrew for the removal of the grill for cleaning - I found the screw after a educated guess for those who are looing for it to it is just under the the cable way form the motor in the back of the fan hint: it is deep down in a hole a No 2 screwdriver will get it.--- in the end, whatever Vornado dose they got it right (also bring back the Vornado Swan please!!! i just missed out on getting one!!!)

Sleek and powerful!

This new V102 is so sleek and powerful. I love having 3 speeds to choose from. I turn it oh high and place it about two feet from the A/C vent in the floor. Wow, it really makes a 4-5 degree difference in our home. The floor-saving space design has impressed many visitors. I find this fan an exceptional value.

Great summer remedy!

As most people know, it gets pretty darn hot during the summer here in Texas. My home A/C has to work double time during the day just to try and keep my house cool. With the addition of this circulator placed in my hallway, my A/C is able to cool other parts of the house with less effort and running time. Along with the smaller Vornado circulators in the bedrooms, my electric bill has lowered to a reasonable amount.

I am just loving my "POWERFUL" Vornado V102.
I got it during the heatwave to avoid energy costs due to air conditioning.
I don't even have to turn my bedroom air conditioner on as this fan is "extremely" POWERFUL!
