Vornados do what they say!

I could go on for a few paragraphs expounding on the benefits of the Vornado circulators. Yes, they DO circulate the air (and not focus it like older floor/table fans),they run and run and run without any problem, and they don't take up much room.
To show you how much I like the Vornados, I have purchased 5 of them in the past 8 months: 4 circulators and the top of the line floor heater.
I think this says it all.

Looks nice but louder than expected

After years of using the conventional Vornado floor fans, I decided the tower might be a more attractive alternative. We live in the desert and use floor fans to supplement the air conditioning and increase the air flow in our home.
This fan effectively moves the air and looks a lot less obvious than the floor fans, but it is much noisier.

Product moves air efficiently. Medium and high settings are too loud. The base wobbles and contributes to the noise output. The side intake limits placement for air distribution from my fireplace. Rear intake and choice of left or right exhaust venting would be useful. Magnetic remote holder is useless.

Moves a bunch of air, is a little noisy, but that is because of the amount of air it moves. Since it doesn't swing back and forth, fewer moving parts, therefore less to breakdown. Great 3 speed of air movement.

I really like the fan. The fan is of high quality and exactly what expected from Vornado. The remote control is very cheap and hard to use. I had a lot of difficulty in getting the battery installed.

this is loud, a little rickety and NOT powerful and does do what the product description implies. It didn't circulate air in the room very well at all and we tried to use it in our daughter's small bedroom, which should have been ideal for it. Its also pretty loud, even at the lowest setting, so while good for unintended white noise, it was not a quiet efficient fan, and for the cost we were really disappointed. we used it all summer because it was too big a pain to send back but I really do not recommend this fan. We also got the black 723, floor fan, which is much much better, and I do recommend. But don't get this one. The parts are also not the tightest fit so it gives a sort of plastic rattle while on. not high quality I expected from vornado.

My husband have three Vorando fans in our home, but only recently purchased the 'tower' model. They are not kidding about "whole room circulation". It really moves the air! I really like it's sleek, modern look. We love this Vornado!
