I find this one of the best humidifiers I have used. Easy to use. We live in an area with hard water, so the filters don't last the expected month. Easy to change. For those of you that have a hard time seeing the water level, get out your flashlight! I like being able to get the filters delivered with no tax, shipping, handling, etc. Cheaper than at the store if you don't pay the tax and gas to get there.

This humidifier is ok as it does what it claims to do, but some improvements would not hurt. For example, it is very difficult to see the water level. Some sort of light, similar to the Keurig coffeemakers would be helpful. Also, it is very awkward to fill the water reservoir. It does not rest in the sink because of the handle, and one has to try to hold the chamber with one hand while handling the water tap. Anyone with small hands and low strength will struggle with this.

So far I like tbe Evap 2 vortex humidifier but I agree because the blue color is so dark it's hard to see how much water is left in the tank. And I don't see how often Vornado recommends to change the filter?

Love it, only one thing wrong

I love this humidifier, there's only one problem--I cannot tell by looking whether there's any water left in it. The blue plastic of the water tank is simply too dark to be able to easily see inside and, while it looks good (sleek!), it's not practical. An alternative might be to include a light button that one could press and it lights up inside the tank, but I don't think that's a practical idea, either. Maybe a lighter shade of blue? Or clear--although that would ruin the sleekness.
Otherwise, I'm very much in love with this product.
